the end of friends
i just finished watching the last episode of friends, and i must say, i never EVER expected to cry while watching friends. i mean, how can you cry in that show?!
apparently, it is possible. dear gawd, those last two episodes were just... sad!!! and can i just say how sad it is that joey never ends up with anyone at all?! i guess that is what his character dictates...
anyway, i was crying at the thought of never seeing a new episode of friends... EVER. it's just been so much fun, this past decade. and i know when you say decade it sounds like a long time, but i guess friends never really got old with me. i know a lot of people say the humor is shallow and stuff, but i really couldn't care less. i had fun watching that show, and that's what's important. wow, i just realized this show started when i was 10 years old!!! washafasha!!! that was a long time ago!!!
i love friends, and i'm happy i got to watch the shows. but i'm really bummed that they're never making new episodes anymore. they're gonna be like cheers or something, where they show reruns and stuff. oh gawd.
i would have really really loved to have seen a taping of the show, but ... gah. that's quite a lot to ask for. wow. 10 years. it was just so sad to see the show end. but hello! they did have to end sometime. it's great that they ended at this point, actually, and not when they've milked it for all it's worth and people don't like the show anymore. it had to end sometime.
agh. just like college. but i will NOT go down that road for another 7 months. i just know i'll turn into a human faucet in march. gah. i'm such a baby.
so i don't just love friends. i love my friends, too.
